What people Say
"Hagal Farm is truly a hidden gem. It is rustic and very comfortable. Its delightfully quirky in character, and homely in atmosphere, and the gardens are fascinating and very well maintained. The welcome card and fresh flowers were a lovely touch. We also found the house very well equipped with all the utensils, pots, plates, bowls and cutlery etc that we could possibly have needed, and a few more!! Our family of 6 adults, 1 teenager and 6 children between 3 and 9 years old, had a wonderful time, and we were all able to relax and enjoy our time together. It is a long way from anywhere, so it is wonderfully peaceful and the surrounding scenery is stunning. But you can drive to Bantry within half an hour or so and the town is wonderful for pubs, restaurants, shops and groceries. We really enjoyed our time there, and we may well be back again next year!"
"We found the house very well appointed, and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone and we were a very large group!.The weather wasn't very good, but luckily for us, there is plenty to do in the neighbourhood and we had loads of fun every night in the house. There were boardgames for the kids, lots of trails and paths to follow, a cool swing and many otherthings in the house and garden to keep them amused. We had ample cooking utensils in the kitchens, and loads of books to read if we wanted some quiet time. we took lovely walks around the neighbourhood too, up to see Kealkill Stone Circle and through the forest as part of Sli Bhéara."
